The names and construction used on the garments to create this costume reflect the time period that it comes from. It is important to make all pieces in the order given. Set the Skirt hemlines over the bum roll and the Farthingale. Fit the bodice over the bum roll, Farthingale and Skirt. Fit the partlet into the neck of the finished bodice and the neck ruff over the partlet.
