Young people continue to show a preference for the full, pretty skirt, and this one by Elly Kriech with its side pleats centering in each of the box pleats promises to be a winner with the young set. The simple bodice has a wide neckline collared and trimmed with bias contrast, a detail that is easy to handle since the custom-cut pattern has open perforations for easy marking and accuracy. For the sleeveless version choose linen, pique, novelty cotton, shantung or pongee with the trim in cotton plaid or an alternate color. The longer sleeved model will be wonderful in autumn, made up in faille, wool crepe or novelty wool with bands in satin or faille.
